Animations in class

The Marche de l’Espoir, in addition to being the biggest solidarity event in French-speaking Switzerland, is also a whole effort to raise awareness of children’s rights.

From September to October, Terre des Hommes Suisse offers schools in the Canton of Geneva and neighboring France activities in class. Each year, more than 30,000 students are made aware!

These events led by facilitators trained by Terre des Hommes Suisse raise students’ awareness of the realities of the lives of children elsewhere, who then encourage them to show more solidarity with their peers by participating in particular in the March of the ‘hope. The animations have been validated by the DIP (Public Instruction Department) and are linked to the Plan d’études romand (PER).
